The Boss VB-2 Vibrato is an effects pedal used by Prince from the mid 1980s onward. It replaced the Boss CE-2 Chorus on Prince’s pedalboard in the Purple Rain era. As well as being a guitar effect, the VB-2 can be heard on the Linn LM-1 parts of “Forever In My Live”.

One of Prince’s VB-2s is currently on display at Paisley Park.
