The Boss CE-2 chorus is an effects pedal used by Prince in the early 1980s. It appeared on Prince’s first pedalboard and can be seen in the “Nothing Compares 2 U” and “Manic Monday” videos in Prince’s rehearsal space. It was replaced by the Boss VB-2 Vibrato in 1984. According to Susan Rogers, Prince used the CE-2 in the studio.
Miko Weaver used a Boss Chorus pedal on the Lovesexy tour, assumed to be either a CE-2 or CE-3.
