The Akai MPC-60II is a sampler and workstation used by Prince in the early-to-mid 1990s. It was designed by Roger Linn, inventor of the Linn LM-1 and was popular with hip-hop producers. Prince was photographed with one in the Gold Experience/Emancipation eras.
