Wendy Melvoin

Wendy Melvoin (born 26th January 1964) was Prince's guitarist from 1983 to 1986. She was a member of the Revolution.
Prince formed the Revolution in 1983, that included Wendy on guitar. She appeared on the Purple Rain album and film. She also appeared on the subsequent Around The World In A Day and Parade albums. She left Prince's band when the Revolution broke up in 1986. As well as performing with Prince, Wendy co-wrote several songs, including Computer Blue, Mountains and Sometimes It Snows In April.
Wendy now performs with a reunited Revolution.
